Saturday October 24th, 2009

Event will be held on October 24^th from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm at the 9-Iron Practice Center on Santa Fe between Merced and Atwater.  The purpose of this event is to raise awareness and funds for the Merced County Food Bank and of the health benefits and diversity of pomegranate based products.  Some of the products featured at the event include, but are not limited to:  Food, Recipes, Skin lotions, Wine, Beer, Decorations, Juice, Supplements, etc…

Entry to the event is $5.00 or a canned food item.  Proceeds will go to benefit the Merced County Food Bank.

Also Featured at the event will be vendor space ranging from locally grown fruits and vegetables to retail booths and informational spaces.  Sections available for sponsorship include: 

•  the “Kids Zone” with a variety of activities for kids including a rock   wall, face painting and Child ID kits. 

• Main Stage - Entertainment will be provided by various artists through-out the day and will include live music.

• Beer Garden – Beer, wine and pomegranate based beverages will be sold.

This event will be promoted via, Radio, Print, Signage, Internet, Email and flyers.
